Training of Slum Workers.

"Jesus chose twelve to be with him and to be sent out to preach."

The heart of his ministry was to train these twelve, so we need to be each training others.

We will begin by telling short stories that show some of the following.

How was I trained?
What do I want to be trained in?
Is training of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, deacons (NGO workers) different? What was I trained to be? What am I?
What are the best processes of training slum workers?
What are the steps of development?

By listening to the stories of each other, we can see what are the strengths and weaknesses of our training.

Then we will examine the Encarnacao Grassroots Training Processes, which cover 12 modules and 55 topics for slum workers, and see how well this covers what we have discovered works and what is missing.

Then we will look at the BA and MA in Transformational Urban Leadership designed for leaders of works among the poor and see if this also will meet our needs.

Economic Discipleship

We will look at one topic in more detail: and work out how to train others in this area. (We all teach Spiritual Discipleship, but Jesus asked us to follow him in the way he handled money and things. What is the Biblical teaching in this area and how do we follow him in this?) this will include

9 Principles of Economic Discipleship, and
Robin Hood the Deacon: Taking from the Rich and Distributing to the Poor,
Principle of Cooperative Savings.

Quais são os melhores processos de formação favela trabalhadores?
Quais são as etapas de desenvolvimento?
Ao ouvir as histórias uns dos outros, podemos ver quais são os pontos fortes e weakneses da nossa formação.
