One page summaries of books are not meant to be onerous assignments, but give a checkpoint to make sure the reading has been done, the reading has been engaged with, and the student can later access this knowledge usably.
1. In standard book title format, list the book or chapter title.
e.g. Sanders, J. O. (1967). Spiritual Leadership. Chicago, Moody Press.
2. Theme: In two or three paragraphs, identify the main themes of the book or chapter
3. Quotation: Identify one quotation that may be useful in communicating part of this theme. This is not a quotation by the author of someone else, but a quotation from the author you can utilise.
4. Application: Do one paragraph relating this chapter to movement Leadership, or our own situation.
