Learning Objectives

1.Understanding: Trainees will understand a Biblical framework for engagement with seeking land rights for the poor. Trainees will be familiar with both community development based on economic analysis and community organizational approaches based on justice and political understandings of the causes of poverty. Trainees will develop a Biblical understanding for involvement in appropriate issues and levels of justice. Trainees will understand the diversity of roles of rich churches in relationship to the poor. Trainees will discuss the Biblical and practical relationship of spiritual powers and structures of sin.
